Rest assured that your light-colored items will be washed separately from the dark-colored ones, reducing the risk of any potential discoloration or staining.

Katy Fluff N Fold is pleased to offer next-day service and can accommodate requests for items to be hung dry. However, please note that hang dry is not available for same-day service.

If you opt for next-day service and want specific items to be hung dry, kindly follow these steps:

1. Select the “hang dry” and “hangers” options when placing your order.
2. Place the hang-dry items in a separate bag with the hangers and label it as “hang dry.” *Please note that we can hang dry no more than 15 items per service.
3. Please include the correct number of hangers in the hang-dry bag. If you forget your hangers, each hanger is $0.40.

Rest assured that we will take care of the hang-drying process and return the items to you dry and hung. Please note that we are unable to fold hung-dry items. The best part is, this service comes at no extra charge for you.

However, it’s essential to be aware that hang-dry items are weighed after the washing, drying, hanging, and packing process, which means they will be weighed along with the hangers.

As per the advice of laundry experts, we typically launder clothes using cold water. However, if you prefer your clothes to be laundered in hot water, you can simply make a request in the “special instructions” section, and we will be more than happy to accommodate your preference. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we aim to tailor our services to meet your specific needs and preferences.

The typical weight of an average hamper of clothes is approximately 10 pounds, which can serve as a helpful reference when estimating the cost of our service. Alternatively, you can easily determine the estimated weight of your laundry by using a bathroom scale. First, weigh yourself and then weigh yourself while holding each bag of laundry. By subtracting the initial weight from the weight with the laundry, you can obtain the estimated weight of your laundry. This information will assist you in understanding the service cost and ensure transparency in our pricing.

There is a $25 minimum on next-day orders, and a $40 minimum on same-day orders.

When placing an order with Katy Fluff N Fold, we “pre-authorize” your credit/debit card, which involves verifying the availability of funds based on factors such as your order history and the size of your current order. The pre-authorization amount can vary and is not an actual charge; instead, it temporarily reserves the funds on your card.

Once we complete the laundry process—washing, drying, folding, packing, and weighing your items—we proceed to charge your credit/debit card for the total cost of the service. At this point, the pre-authorized “hold” amount is released.

It’s important to note that Katy Fluff N Fold promptly releases the “hold” amount. However, the availability of those funds back to you depends on your credit/debit card company’s policies, which may take some time to reflect in your account. Rest assured, we strive to ensure a smooth and efficient payment process, and any delays in fund availability are typically subject to the card issuer’s procedures.
